Our residential holiday course in England are designed to allow youths from ages 8 to 17 to enjoy their vacation while improving their English. Students participate in an wide variety of activities, from sports to visits of the English countryside. The schools have a truly international character, which permits participants to meet youths from across the world and make friends without being tempted to speak their mother tongue. Students are supervised 24 hours a day by our motivated, highly qualified anglophone staff.The various programs include language courses and numerous activities.
Athletic youths can choose tennis, swimming, soccer, basketball, archery, golf, nautical sports, rock climbing, table tennis, badminton, baseball and many more.
Those with a more adventurous spirit can enjoy numerous excursions that the school organizes in the region: London, Canterbury, Bournemouth, Corfe Castle, Dorchester, Monkey World, Splashdown, the port city of Poole...
And for all students, a variety of leisure activities allow for relaxation and socialization. The school organizes bowling, karaoke, billiards, mini-cruises, film nights, scavenger hunts, orienteering courses, coastal walks, etc.
We organize these activities on England's southern coast in two beautiful colleges at Swanage (from March to November) and Ramsgate (summers only).
Additionally, we organize supervised travel between these two schools and Brussels or Calais each week during the summer and Easter vacations.

The School
Our partner institution in Swanage overlooks the town and bay. It has its own dormitory, cafeteria and multimedia/internet facilities, as well as sporting facilities such as a pool, tennis courts, sports hall and basketball courts. Students from more than 45 nationalities attend the school throughout the year.The success of the school and the programs that it offers is due to many factors, including its unequalled sporting and accommodation facilities, its active and full program 7 days a week and including evening activities, devoted teachers, international atmosphere and, of course, the safe environment that Swanage offers.
Accommodation
The students are boarded directly in the school residence. The accommodation is in shared rooms with all meals included.For the youths aged 14 and up, it is also possible to stay with a host family with all meals. The famillies are within a few minutes walking distance of the school (on request only, same prices).
In case of a late reservation (payment made less than 12 weeks before the start of the course) and if the dormitory is full, the school reserves the right to place students in a host family in a shared room.
The Programs
The programs in Swanage are availabel to youths aged 8 to 17. We propose 5 different courses, each offered in function of the age of the student and the period of the year. Programs 1 and 2 are the most popular and are suitable for all age groups.-
English & Sports (ages 12 to 17)
15 hours of English and 15 hours of sporting activities per week: badminton, basketball, aerobics, open air games, cricket, orienteering, pushball, baseball, swimming, table tennis, track, volleyball, weight training...
In the summer, the 15 hours of sport may include 4 hours a week of tennis, 6 hours of golf, 3 hours of horsemanship or 6 hours of nautical sports (supplemental fees for each). -
English and Activities (ages 15 to 17)
15 hours of English + 15 hours of activities per week.
Activities include pool, beach games, computer activities, English conversation, film, games, art and music, scavenger hunts, baseball, table tennis or hiking. -
English and Activities + Excursions (ages 15 to 17)
15 hours of English 5 afternoons of activities or excursions per week including:- Activities : Archery, bowling, Splashdown, go-carts, canoing, kayaking, rock climbing, the oceanarium, paintball, golf, movies...
- Excursions : Bournemouth, Nature Park, Corfe Castle, Dorchester, the port city of Poole, the Jurassic Coast, Monkey World, Lulworth Castle (with medieval spectacle), ...

Junior course for youths aged 8 to 11
15 hours a week of English and 6 hours a week of activities, such as: pool, English conversation or films, and 9 hours a week of choosen activities, such as excursions to Corfe Castle, Durlston Country park, visits to Farmer Palmers or Putlake Farm, bowling, Splashdown, Studland Beach, the Oceanarium,… -
One week special
15 hours of English + 15 hours of activities and various excursions. Examples include:- Activities and sports: Pool, bowling, mini cruise, hikes and walks, basketball, athletics, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, mini golf, tennis, hockey, cricket...
- Excursions: Blue Pool – Nature Park, Lulworth Cove et Durdle Door – Jurassic Coast, Monkey World, Swanage Beach, Durlston Country Park, Oceanarium.
- Weekends: a half-day excursion takes place each Sunday.

The Program
This international youth camp is designed for youths aged 12 tto 15. The program includes 15 hours of English courses per week and a very complete excursion and cultural and sporting activity program. The accommodation includes all meals (full board) and is in the dormitories of a private college. All aspects of the program take place in English in a familial atmosphere and with excellent supervision.The School
Our partner institution is a traditional English college founded in 1897. The principle building, which is very modern, includes classrooms, meeting rooms, a theater, and day rooms for the students. The cafeteria is in the oldest and most historic part of the college. The sporting infrastructure includes tennis courts, basketball courts, and a soccer field.The ambiance is very familiale and friendly as there are never more than 50 students in each program. Upon arrival, our team gives the students a warm welcoming and get to know each one of them personally.
The Courses
Les cours d’anglais ont lieu tous les matins, du lundi au vendredi. Après un test de niveau le lendemain de leur arrivée, les étudiants seront placés dans de petits groupes, afin que les cours puissent être ciblés sur les besoins linguistiques de chaque étudiant. A la fin de leur séjour, les étudiants recevront un certificat attestant des progrès réalisés.The Activities
The sportive activities, excursions and also evenings are organised by our team. All of our counselors are native English speakers and encourage the students to speak English.Activities include: visit to Ramsgate, Canterbury or London, football, tennis, volleyball, bowling, beach games, swimming, film night, karaoke, beach walks...
Accommodation
The students are lodged in a very modern building. The rooms are well-lit, spacious and well equiped. Each one contains 4, 5 or 6 beds and 2 bathrooms. Each student has an individual dresser and wardrobe.We avoid placing students of the same nationality together to encourage them to practice their English and foster an international environment.

Courses are available from 6 July tp 17 August 2008.Courses are 2 weeks in length, from Sunday to Sunday.
If you reserve the transportation with us, an extra night in accommodation (Saturday) is included with no supplement.

Transportation Bruxelles/Mons/Calais - Bournemouth
Group TravelIn the months of July and August and during Belgian Easter vacation, we organize a weekly supervised voyage between Brussels, Mons or Calais and Bournemouth. The trip includes:
- accompanied group travel to Bournemouth/Swanage
- transfer to the host family (on arrival and departure)
- an extra night in accommodation, in the case of Sunday returns
On return, the bus generally arrives at 3:00 pm in Calais, 5:30 in Mons and 6:00 in Brussels.
- Departures:
- Easter: Sunday 05/04, Saturday 11/04.
- Summer: Sundays 21/06*, and 28/06, Saturdays 04/07, 11/07, 18/07, 25/07, 01/08, 08/08, 15/08 and Friday 21/08.
- Returns:
- Easter Sunday 12/04, Saturday 18/04.
- Summer: Sundays 05/07, 12/07, 19/07, 26/07, 02/08, 09/08, 16/08 and Saturdays 22/08 and 29/08.
* = the trip to Bournemouth is by air, requiring a supplement (see price table).
Individual Travel
Outside of the dates mentioned above, we can arrange travel by air to Bournemouth/Swanage departing from either Brussels or Paris. The trip includes the flight (round trip) and a transfer directly to the family (arrival only). The fee (see table) may vary with the price of flights. The fee includes an extra night in accommodation for Sunday departures.
Student Arranged Travel
Students may also arrange their own travel to England. We can arrange a transfer to or from the Bournemouth airport or train station for a small fee. Contact us for more details.
