This "Nation of Poets and Thinkers" has produced such musical giants as Bach and Beethoven, literary geniuses including Schiller and Goethe, or philosophers such as Immanuel Kant or Georg Hegel. The land offers something for every interest, from the wilderness of the Black Forest, the spectacular views of the Alps in Southern Bavaria to the sunny beaches of the island Rügen north of Berlin. The Programs

The courses are opened to all German ability levels except for absolute beginners; one year of German class in school is a prerequisite for this program. The programs take place in various locations throughout Germany. Please note that each destination has a different schedule, accommodation arrangements and is able to host students of varying ages, so be sure to consult the individual program details section below before making reservations.
Students will receive a placement test on their first day. Each program includes 15 to 20 lessons a week according to age, for which didactic materials and books are provided. Every afternoon, the school organizes activities in German for the students, which range from excursions into the host town to supervised sports. Accommodation
Depending on the destination, students will either live in host families or a student residence. Host families are carefully selected and live generally in quiet living districts in suburb or in close towns with good public transit connections. The host families are accustomed to welcoming our students and provide excellent supervision, especially for our youngest students.Student residences are supervised and clean. The schools host a variety of courses for German youngsters as well, and these youths are the majority of the residents. Contact with native speakers is, therefore, very common. Students stay in double rooms and will room with a German unless they request a specific roommate.
